Ian Taylor wins Central Seniors

Open by two at Stirling

Ian Taylor (Royal Burgess) won last week's Central Seniors Open tournament at Stirling Club by two shots from Brian Smith (Kilmacolm) and Eric Lindsay (Blairgowrie).
Taylor led the way with rounds of 72 and 68 for 140 against a CSS of 72 for both rounds.
Smith scored 72 and 70, Lindsay a pair of 71s.
Taylor, a two-handicapper, also had the lowest net aggregate of 136 (70-66), two shots ahead Smith, who also plays off two, with net scores of 70 and 68 for 138.
