It was Bon-Accord's evening in the Links Handicap last night as five of their members progressed to the quarter-finals. Highlight was veteran and ex-champion Raymond Cheyne who scraped through at the 22nd hole against Northern's Tommy Still.
Caley were to the fore in the Murray Cup, also with five members in the quarter finals. Plum tie tomorrow will be between Graham Mackie and Mark Rimmer. With almost 50 years between them, it promises to be a great match.
Elsewhere defending champion Richie Davidson was pushed all the way by Ricky Leslie before prevailing at the 21st.
