Rory McIlroy leads by two

For the third day in a row, early-morning fog cut the number of hours when the light was good enough for play in the Dubai Desert Classic today.
The result is that most of the players will have to play something like 25 holes on Sunday - finishing off their third rounds and starting their final rounds.

Belfast boy Rory McIlroy, chasing his first European Tour win at the age of 19, finished his restarted second round in style with an eagle - six-iron for his second shot at a par-5 hole! - to take up the lead and over the holes he managed to play in his third round he consolated that lead to two strokes.
With all players finally having begun their third round by mid-afternoon on the third day at Emirates Golf Club, second-round leader McIlroy picked up a shot over his opening five holes to move onto 13-under-par.
Henrik Stenson and in-form South African Louis Oosthuizen were unable to respond to their playing partners' move and remained at 11 under through six holes.
