Tie for first place in final event of
2008 Tartan Tour
There was a tie for first place in the final event of the PGA Scottish Region's 2008 circuit - the Monifieth Four-ball.
The Lothians pairing of Fraser Mann (Musselburgh) and Paul Wardell (Whitekirk) shot a five-under-par better-ball of 66, which was matched later in the day by the all-Glasgow Golf Club combination of John Greaves and Englishman Nick Walton.
Each pair won £412.50.
A shot behind on 67, winning £170.83 per pair, were the Collinson brothers, Gary (Esporta Dougalston) and Robert (Bearsden Golf Range), Christopher Campbell (Carnegie Club, Skibo Castle) and Lee Harper (Archerfield Links), and Scottish Alliance champion Craig Everett (Caldwell) in partnership with Stewart Savage (Dalmuir).
The field included Ronan Rafferty (partnering Paul McKechnie) and Steve Martin (partnering Lee Vannet). Both combinations finished on three-under-par 68.
