TARTAN ARMY OF
SCOTS ENTER
EUROPEAN TOUR QUALIFYING

The Tartan Army of Scots who have entered the European Tour Qualifying School Stage 1 competitions, next month, at a cost of £1,250 each, include the current Scottish amateur champion Callum Macaulay (Tulliallan), pictured right by Cal Carson Golf Agency (all rights reserved).

The qualifiers from the above events will be joined by those exempt from Stage 1 at four venues for Stage 2 in Spain - Arcos Gardens, Golf Costa Balena, Sherry Golf and Montemedio - from November 5 to 8.

The qualifiers from Stage 2 will be joined by those exempt from Stages 1 and 2. at the Final Qualifying School at PGA Golf de Catalunya, Spain from November 13 to 18.

The European Tour charge an entry fee of £1,250 from every competitor, whatever stage they join the qualifying. Stage 1 has a total entry of 783, which will raise £978,750 alone in income for the European Tour.
Add in the competitors who will join the process in Stage 2 and the Final School, and the European Tour will take in well over £1million from the entries.
