Paul Lawrie's 62 at Turriff
wins him £1,040 prize

Paul Lawrie won for the second time on the Tartan Tour pro-am circuit within a matter of weeks with a brilliant round of eight-under-par 62 at Turriff Golf Club today (Friday).
Lawrie's bogey-free had birdies at the first, sdecond, sixth, ninth, 10th, 14th, 16th and 18th in halves of 32 and 30.
Even so, the 1999 Open champion still won the £1,040 by only one shot from Chris Doak.
Lawrie's previous Scottish win was in the Kemnay pro-am at the end of June.
Steven Taylor (Bothwell Castle) steered the Balgownie Limited trio of Mike Singer (handicap four), Jim Chalmers (6) and Ian Singer (6) to a two-shot victory with a 20-under-par net total of 120 in the team event.
