Only one qualifying round in European
boys' team championship at Bled
The European Golf Association has, this morning, clarified the position with regard to the European boys team championship at Bled, Slovenia.
No play was possible in the scheduled first qualifying round on Tuesday.
Here is the response from the EGA this morning:

For the time being, only the first stroke-play day has been cancelled. The weather today is a lot better and they are already on the course. Results will be available as soon as possible.
This is our regulations in case of bad weather during European Team events and as you can see under C) as long as one complete strokeplay round has been played a championship result will have been attained:
1.14 Suspension of Play due to Bad Weather
a) During the stroke play stage, if all six rounds have not been completed from any
team due to bad weather, the Day will be cancelled.
b) Standard EGA procedures to attain match results following Day cancellations due
to bad weather will be implemented.
c) A minimum of 18 holes stroke play must be completed by all teams in order to
attain a Championship result.
d) If it is impossible to complete a match or series of matches in accordance with the
Rules of Golf, the Committee reserves the right to come to an equitable decision
to achieve a result.
e) The Committee reserves the right to suspend any round or alter the format of the
Championship at any time.
