FOUR-TIME WINNER DAVID ORR
COLLECTS £1,200 PRIZE
AT HAYSTON PRO-AM

David Orr's five-birdie round of four-under-par 66 earned him the top pro prize of £1,200 in the Hayston Golf Club pro-am on Saturday.
It was a fourth pro-am win of the season for the East Renfrewshire Golf Club pro who is third behind Chris Doak and Jason McCreadie on the Tartan Tour money list.
Orr, pictured right by Cal Carson Golf Agency (all rights reserved birdied the second, fifth, 14th, 16th and 17th in halves of 35 (one under par) and 31 (three under) with only one bogey on his card, at the seventh.
He won by a single shot from Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) who earned £950 for his 67.
Owen Leslie (Prestonfield) led the Hayston Golf Club amateur trio of Robert Fulton (handicap 6), Mike Allan (10) and John Mulgrew (15) to victory in the team event with a net score of 15-under-par 55.
