STEPHEN CLARK'S DISAPPOINTING
FINISH TO FOUR YEARS
ON AMERICAN COLLEGE CIRCUIT

Glasgow's Stephen Clark, a final-year student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, signed off his four seasons playing on the American college circuit with a joint 13th place finish in a field of 50 for The Summit League Championship at Mussato course, Macomb in Illinois.
Clark, pictured right, who played for Scotland Under-16s before he left for the States, originally enrolling at Pfeiffer University, had been sharing third place with one round to go but cost himself a top-five, even a top-10 finish when he bogeyed five holes between the eighth and 15th for a four-over-par 76 over the 6,862yd course.
He had six birdies in a first-round 70 and a double bogey at the 15th in a second-round 76, all adding up to six-over-par final total of 222.
Team-mate Alex Hogben from Manchester finished joint seventh on 219 with scores of 72, 74 and 73.
Nate Page (Southern Utah) and Kyle Peterman (Western Illinois) tied for the top spot on level par 216.
Missouri-Kansas City (880) lost their overnight lead to finish second in the team event to Western Illinois (870) in a field of 10 teams.
