MONTY (72) IS FIGHTING TO BEAT
THE CUT IN ARNOLD PALMER
INVITATIONAL

Tiger Woods missed several greens with a short iron in his hands as he had to settle for a par-matching round of 70 in the Arnold Palmer Invitational at Bay Hill Golf Club in Florida.
Fred Couples, now 48, and J J Henry shared the lead on five-under 65 by one shot from Lee Westwood, Tom Lehman, Vijay Singh and Lucas Glover.
Colin Montgomerie is lying joint 67th after a two-over-par 72 and is a borderline case for making the halfway cut.
A place in the Masters field next month looks a long way off.
