ZACK JUMPS INTO PORTUGAL PROMINENCE
WITH SECOND-ROUND 68 FOR FIFTH PLACE

Young Zack Saltman from Craigielaw shot into prominence at the halfway stage of the Portuguese men's amateur international 72-hole stroke play championship at Estela Golf Club with a second-round 68 for a 36-hole tally of level par 144. He had a 76 in the first round.
Zack starts Saturday's third round in joint fifth place, only five behind the Portuguese player who has the halfway lead, Pedro Figeuiredo, with scores of 70 and 69.
