NORTH SCOTTISH ALLIANCE NEWS
James R Souter from the host Club won the premier Scratch award for his first time in Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture held over the New Course at Moray Golf Club. In latterly windy conditions, he posted a 3 over par 72 for a three stroke win from 4 players. (The player originally in second place failed to sign his scorecard.) His round included a birdie three at the third which was played from the old "Tiger" tee.

Bill Johnston also Moray won Handicap Section Two with a nett 71 off 10 including a 10 at the afore-mentioned third. James Ingram from Boat of Garten off 6 won Handicap Section One.
