LEE VANNET (63) WINS BY FIVE
SHOTS AT ARBROATH LINKS

The Midland Golfers' Alliance held this week's meeting at Arbroath Links where Carnoustie Links professional Lee Vannet led the way with a superb five-under-par score of 63, three shots ahead of Falkirk Tryst assistant pro Craig Matheson.
There was a four-way tie on 68 for the handicap prize between James Roy (Panmure), John Leddy (Bathgate), Harry Salmond (Tulliallan) and Ken Smith (New Club, St. Andrews).
