O'HARA DROPS OUT OF MADRID HUNT, LAWRIE
AND COLTART DROP OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT

Friday was not a good day for the Scots in the No2 European Tour event this week - the Madrid Open championship.
Steven O'Hara plummeted out of contention with a 79 - 12 shots more than his opening round of 67, and his 146 36-hole total made the halfway cut with only shot to spare.
Paul Lawrie and Andrew Coltart missed the cut on 149. Lawrie shot 76-73, Coltart 71-78.
