FOTHERINGHAM STRIKES AGAIN

Bryan Fotheringham (Forres) won his second North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture in a row, firing a 66 at Inverness Golf Club as he had done at Boat of Garten a week previously.

His round included a double bogey 6 at the 14th and five birdies.

Bryan, pictured right, won by two shots from Neil Hampton (Loch Ness) who birdied the last to pip Mike Macdonald (Fortrose).
Fourteen-year-old Freddie Brown (Nairn Dunbar), playing off nine of a handicap, strolled to victory in the handicap section, recording 13 pars and five bogeys in a 74.
