LINDSAY JOINT THIRD AT SPIRIT HOLLOW
Adam Lindsay from Banchory, a student at Iowa Wesleyan College, finished joint third in his latest competition on the American college golf circuit. He had rounds of 78 and 68 over a par-72, 6765yd course at Spirit Hollow Golf Club, in the IWC Fun City Classic at Burlington, Iowa. His second round was the lowest by any of the 64 players over the two days.
Adam, who won the Penn Invite tournament in his last outing, finished five shots behind the winner, Drew Chuipek (St Ambrose University) who scored 69 and 72 for 141.
St Ambrose (581) won the team event from Indian Hills (591) and Ioaw Wesleyan (612) in a field of 12 college teams.
