£1,099 PRIZE FOR JASON McCREADIE
WITH FIVE-UNDER 66 IN PAISLEY PRO-AM

Jason McCreadie (Buchanan Castle) bounced back from failing to beat the cut at Gleneagles in the Johnnie Walker Championship by winning the top prize of £1,099 in today's Paisley Golf Club pro-am.
Jason , pictured right, won by single shot from Stephen Gray (Hayston) with a five-under-par round of 66 which was highlighted by an eagle 3 at the 16th. He also had birdies at the second, seventh, 13th, 14th and 18th and bogeys at the third and 17th in hlavesl of 35 (one under par) and 31 (four under par).
Gray led the Paisley Golf Club team of Gary Price (+1), Jim Pollock (18) and Jim Kyle (14) to victory in the team event with a net score of 11-under-par 60 but only after a countback with the Firwood Construction Services team led by Fraser McLaughlan (Bothwell Castle) who also returned a net 60.
Paisley Golf Club were placed first on the better net inward half of 29 to 30.
