CHRIS KELLY SLASHES THREE SHOTS OFF
CAWDER RECORD WITH 10-UNDER 60

Cawder Golf Club tournament professional Chris Kelly slashed three strokes off his home course pro record with a brilliant round of 10-under-par 60 today.
His unblemished scorecard included an inward half of seven-under-par 28 which might well be a PGA Scottish Region tournament record for nine holes.
Kelly, who won the £1,127 top prize in the Cawder Golf Club pro-am by three strokes, had an eagle 3 at the 12th and eight birdies, at the first, fifth, seventh, 11th,15th, 16th, 17th and 18th.
It is the second Tartan Tour course record in a matter of days. Paul McKechnie (Braid Hills) won the Pollok pro-am with a 10-under-par 61 on Wednesday.
Kelly’s nearest rival was Stephen Gray (Hayston) who equalled the old record of 63.
It was Chris Kelly’s day of days. He also led the Wholesale Domestic team of Derek Toward (8), Brian Toward (12) and Alex McPherson (6) to victory with a net score of 15-under-par 55.
