GREIG HUTCHEON LEADS BY ONE SHOT
AT HALFWAY STAGE OF PROS' 36-HOLER
Peterculter’s Greig Hutcheon shot a three-under-par 66 in a steady drizzle to have a one-stroke lead from Craig Ronald (Carluke) and Dean Robertson (Czech Design) at the halfway stage of the individual professionals’ event in the Diageo/Elgin Golf Club 36-hole centenary pro-am today.
Also in the hunt are Gary Collinson (Esporta Dougalston) on 69 and a pack of five on 70 – Ross Drummond (Prestwick Driving Range), Craig Lee (All Swing Golf Centre), Gordon Law (Uphall), Alan Reid (unattached) and David Park (Wishaw).
New Scottish PGA champion Dean Robertson and Isla Green, a five-handicap member of the host club, won the pro-amateur better-ball event with a net score of nine-under-par 69.
Runners-up on 62 were Greig Hutcheon and Jim Ross (11), and Craig Lee and Dave Hector (3).
