McLEVY AND TOUGH TIE WITH 67s AT PITLOCHRY MIDLAND ALLIANCE

This week the Midland Golfers’ Alliance held the Atholl Palace Hotel Team Competition at Pitlochry Golf Club.

In mostly wet conditions the scoring was still excellent. There was a tie for first Scratch with Tom McLevy (Blairgowrie) and Gary Tough (Edzell) both shooting two-under-par 67s.

The handicap section was won by six-handicapper Kevin Lawlor (Crail Golf Society) won with a net score of 66.

The team event was won by Chris Westland (Alloa) (10), Barry Hynd (Pitreavie) (2) and Rab Baldie (Crieff) (7) with a score of 59.
