Hazlehead start defence of Lyon Trophy with impressive 

win at Aboyne

Defending champions Hazlehead swept through to Tuesday's semi-finals of the Aberdeenshire women's inter-club foursomes for the Lyon Trophy with a 12-hole aggregate victory over Aberdeen Ladies at Aboyne Golf Club.
Hazlehead, represented this year by Jasmine Mackintosh, Gail Melvin, Morven Adam and Kath Emeleus, now meet Kemnay, winners by a combined six holes over hosts Aboyne, while the other semi-final on Tuesday morning will be contested by Banchory and Murcar Links.
