Ian Brotherston leads seniors with a par 70

on opening day at Turriff

Ian Brotherston (Dumfries and Co), pictured, led the first stroke-play qualifying round in the Scottish senior men's match-play championship at Turriff Golf Club (on Monday).
Brotherston's par 70 gave him a two-stroke lead over David Logie (Craigie Hill), Alan White (Newton Stewart) and Robert Smith (Nairn).
