Sean Lawrie pips Sam Locke for Scottish par-3 title
Sean Lawrie, nephew of Paul Lawrie, pipped first-round leader Sam Locke to win the Scottish par-3 championship, sponsored by Farmfoods, over the Banchory Devenick course at the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre on Aberdeen's South Deeside Road.
Sean (pictured) put together scores of 50 and 51 for a seven-under-par final total of 101 … one stroke ahead of second-place Locke (48-52) with Graham Fox (53-50) and last year's winner, David Dixon (52-51 tied for third place on 103.
