Taylor, McDonald, Melville tie with par 71s at Charleton
There was a three-way tie for the top scratch prize at this week's Midland Golfers Alliance competition at Charleton golf course, Fife.
David Taylor (St Andrews New) (4), professional Alastair McDonald (Dunnikier Park) and retired Alyth pro Tom Melville all scored level par 71.
In the handicap section, there was a four-way tie for first place with Scott Edwards (St Andrews) (6) Martin McLeish (Dunkeld and Birnam) (11), Ron Bell (Pitlochry) (5) and Gary Pyott (Arbroath) (5) all returning net 71s.
