HENDERSON AND BRYCE TIE WITH LEVEL PAR 70s AT GLEN GOLF CLUB

A welcome return to play today after the recent weather disruptions saw 66 East Alliance members head to Glen Golf Club, North Berwick for the usual warm welcome at the East Lothian venue.
Level par turned out to be the best scratch score on the par 70 (35-35) course and was achieved by Neil Henderson (Renaissance Club) and Joe Bryce (Bathgate), both with outward scores of 34 and back nines of 36.
Third scratch on 72 went three ways via Chris Curran (Bathgate), Ross Munro (Golf Clubs 4 Cash) and Andrew Oldcorn (Kings Acre).
Top Handicap and winner of The Berwickshire Trophy went to Danny Airens of Falkirk Tryst with a net 68 (74 less 6) and two shots ahead of Joint Top Handicap prize winners Graeme Johnston (Glenbervie) (74 less 4) and Brian Thomson (Kilspindie) who both carded net 70's.
Top Trainee on 73 was local Assistant Michael Bacigalupo (Glen Golf Club).
Senior top prize was shared on net 74 by Willie Laing (Prestonfield) (82 less 8) and Phil Leggate (Musselburgh) (81 less 7).
