Drumoig assistant wins Midland Alliance reduced to 15 holes at Gleneagles
week's Midland Golfers’ Alliance competition at Gleneagles Hotel's Kings Course was reduced to 15 holes because fog delayed the start.
Jordan Brown, assistant professional at Drumoig, ad the best scratch score of the day - a one-under-par 55.
In the handicap section, Chris Westland (Alloa), playing off 10, won with a net score of 55.
Shot of the day was achieved by Jim Crawford (Dunblane New), an eight-handicapper, who holed in one at the 149yd fifth hole.
