Hawksby and Ferguson leading match-play qualifiers at Eden Tournament

Jack Hawksby (Millbrook) and Callum Ferguson (Vicars Cross) headed the qualifiers for the match-play stages of the Eden men's tournament at St Andrews with four-under-par totals of 137.

Hawksby shot a 64 over the Eden Course (CSS 71) and a 73 over the St Andrews New (CSS 73.

Ferguson had a 65 at the Eden and a 72 at the New Course,

They finished the qualifying stages four strokes clear of the field and will be seeded to meet in the final.
