Edzell's Keith Bruce wins opening Midland Alliance fixture

The Midland Golfers’ Alliance got its 2018/19 season under way at Thornton Golf Club in Fife today. Best scratch of the day was a five-under-par 65 by one-handicapper Keith Bruce (Edzell).

In the handicap section Frank Lindin (Muckhart) led the way with a net 65 off eight of a handicap.
