Nairn's Calum Scott wins Junior Tour U16 title at Monifieth

Greg Dalziel (Airdrie), last year's Scottish U18 boys champion, and Jack Broun (BROUN IS CORRECT) (Ayr Belleisle) finished jointly eight strokes clear of the field in the Junior Tour's Under-18 years boys' tournament over the Monifieth Medal and Ashludie courses today (Sunday).
Dalziel had rounds of 62 and 67 for 10-under-par 129, an aggregate matched by Broun with a splendid score of 60 over the Ashludie Course followed by a 69 over the Medal lay-out.
Taylor Kerr (Thornhill) finished a distant third on 137 (64-73).
Nairn prospect Calum D Scott (pictured) won the Under-16 years' competition by one stroke with rounds of 67 and 70
Joint runners-up on 138 were Cameron Adam (Royal Burgess) (68-70) and Ruben Lindsay (Ayr Belleisle) (67-71).
Ruari Mair from Buckpool tied for fourth place with scores of 69 and 73 for 142 alongside Cameron Sharpe (Blairgowrie) (73-69).
