A Rose by any other name ... Alison helps Stirling and

Clackmannan to draw with hosts East Lothian

Former British international Alison (Rose) Davidson won both her foursomes tie (in partnership with Laura Bisset) and her singles match by 5 and 4 as Stirling and Clackmannan dented East Lothian's hopes of winning the East Division women's inter-county team jamboree at their home venue of Dunbar.
The first day ended with East Lothian and Stirling & Clackmannan figuring in a 4.5-4.5 draw while Midlothian justified favouritism to win the title at the end of three days by beating Fife 6-5-2.5
The divisional champions will go forward to join Aberdeenshire in the four-cornered Scottish county finals at Kilmanock Golf Club from September 14 to 16.
