Fiddes to the fore in Super Seniors' Spring Meeting

Alistair Fiddes (Murcar Links) and Billy Erskine (Kilsyth Lennox) shared the scratch lead on the 72 mark after the first round at Aboyne of the Scottish Super Seniors' Spring Meeting.
They will tee off Friday morning in the second and final round
of the over-65 years' event at Ballater with an advantage of only one stroke over Ian Dickson (Lundin), Jim Kinloch (Cardross) and Ian Morrison 
(Royal Aberdeen).
Fiddes, playing off five, and six-handicapper Dickson share the handicap lead with net 67s, one ahead of Jim Kinloch, who plays off five, and David Nelson, an eight-handicapper at Aboyne.
