Former Ladies Tour professonal and now retired Portlethen Golf Club professional Muriel Thomson deserves a medal (CBE or OBE would do) for her work with regular visits to orphanages in India.

Muriel may be sad but the kids she visits are definitely happy when she visits them. See below.

On her own website, Muriel writes:

"In 2006 I first visited India to do voluntary work, helping with the underprivileged children of the St Joseph Social Service Centre in Chennai, India.  I now concentrate my efforts on raising funds for the St. Joseph Centre to improve the children’s health, welfare and education."

Muriel Thomson is feeling sad.

Feeling sad to be leaving India today (March 11). I'm going to miss all the children 😓
