Pro Golf Tour's Open Madaef

Cameron and Howie lead the Tartan Army in Morocco with par 72s

By COLIN FARQUHARSON
Peterhead's Ross Cameron, pictured, and Craig Howie (Peebles) lead the Scots brigade at the end of the first round of the Pro Golf Tour's Open Madaef in Morocco.
They both shot par 72s with Cameron birdieing the first and 13th but bogeying the third and 10th. Howie did well to keep his cool after running up a double bogey 5 at the short third hole.

Two former Scottish amateur champions, Chris Robb (Meldrum House) and Alexander Culverwell), are sharing 28th place on the 74 mark.
Philip McLean (Peterhead) and Chris Maclean are T40 on 75 while Liam Johnston from Dunfermline and Portlethen's Sam Kiloh (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) had disappointing scores of 77 and 79 respectively to be T76 and T96 in a field of 129 players.
Kiloh had two double bogeys in halves of 41 and 38.
Three players share the lead on three-under 69 - Dylan Boshart (Netherlands), Hinrich Arkenau (Germany) and Mateusz Gradecki (Poland).
