Johnston and Philip McLean finish as leading Scots in Morocco

Liam Johnston (222) from Dumfries and Peterhead's Philip McLean (224) were the leading Scots in the latest Pro Golf Tour 54-hole event, the Open Madaef at Rabat, Morocco.
Johnston finished joint 16th with rounds of  77, 74 and 71 while McLean had scores of 75, 74 and 75 for a share of 22nd place.
Craig Howie (Peebles) shared 25th place on 225 after rounds of 73, 78 and 74.
Portlethen's Sam Kiloh (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) shot 79-72-75 for 231, a total matched by former Scottish amateur champion Chris Robb (Meldrum House) who had rounds of 74, 73 and 79. They tied for 31st place on 226.
Another past Scottish title-holder, Alexander Culverwell from Dunbar brought up the rear for the six Scots, with scores of 74, 73 and 80 for an aggregate of 227 and a share of 38th place.
Dutchman Robbie Van West was the winner with a one-under par total of 215 made up of scores of 71,74 and 70. He finished one shot ahead of Moritz Lampert (Germany) (73-73-70)
