McIntosh was beaten by one hole in the third round by Aidan Smith (Edzell) who lost his next tie to Irvine by one hole.
Logan Gillies from Nairn squeezed through at the 20th in his third round tie but was a 3 and 2 winner over Matty Wilson (Forres) in the fourth.
Euan Orr (Kemnay) was  knocked out in the fourth round, beaten 2 and 1 by Dean Walsh (Lochgelly) who is Gillies' opponent in the quarter-finals.

Stewart Henderson of host club Hamilton won the Cadzow Cup  by seven shots with two excellent scores of 70 and 69 for 139 which is three under par.
Stewart signed off in style with a 30 foot putt at the last for a birdie!  He has featured well this year in the Scottish Seniors circuit but proved once again he is still a master of the Lanarkshire 36 hole events.
Henderson  won the Club Championship at Hamilton last week at the 37th hole but his seven-shot victory on Sunday  was slightly more comfortable.
