Pitchforth foils Joel bid for North Scottish 

Alliance hat-trick of wins

Darren Pitchforth (Nairn Dunbar) headed a field of 62 competitors at Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance competition at Inverness Golf Club.
His level par 69 broke the winning sequence of home course player David Joel who finished one shot behind in second place after back-to-back Alliance victories. 
Pitchforth birdied the fifth, sixth, seven and 13th but bogeyed the second, fourth, eighth and 10th.
Jo had an eagle at the third and birdies at the sixth, 12th and 18th but he had a double bogey at the eighth and bogeys at the 10th, 13th, 15th and 16th.
