In-form Graeme Brown wins Midland Alliance at 

Drumoig with three-under-par 70

Thursday's Midland Golfers' Alliance at Drumoig Hotel course, near Leuchars, was won by Montrose Links assistant professional Graeme Brown.
He continued his recent good form with a three-under-par 70 to win the scratch secion by three strokes from four players: professionals Rory Tinker, assistant at Piperdam Osprey, and Neil Douglas (Pitlochry), plus amateurs Stuart McKendrick (Dunkeld and Birnam) and Edzell's Gary Tough.
Ron Cargill (Arbroath) won the handicap section with a net score of 69 off 10 of a handicap.
