Scots seniors beat Wales, now play Ireland in
beat-the-weather Day 2 morning singles
Scotland beat Wales 6.5-2.5 and defending champions England whipped Ireland, the European title-holders, 8-1 on the first day of the Senior Men's Home Internationals at Rosslane Golf Club, Co Wexford
Scotland play the Irish next while England take on Wales. In both
contests, the singles will be played first in the morning in view of a horrendous weather forecast for Wednesday. It is feared that no play will be possible in the afternoon.
