Godsman and Wilson share North of Scotland Open halfway lead at Royal Dornoch

It looks like a North v South fight for the title as Kyle Godsman (Moray) and James Wilson (Balmore) share the halfway lead on five-under-par 135 in the North of Scotland Open Amateur 72-hole stroke-play championship for the David Blair Trophy at Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
Godsman had rounds of 68 and 67, Wilson the other way round with a 67 preceding a 68.
They are two shots clear of Kieran Cantley (Liberton) who has had rounds of 69 and 68 for 137.
Godsman, who hails from Hopeman, has had one bogey - at the short 12th in his first round, over the first 36 holes. He birdied the 12th, 15th and 16th in his second round.
Wilson will be rueing a double bogey 6 at the 14th in his second round. It cost him the out right lead and took the shine of his bag of birdies at the first, eighth, ninth, 12th and 18th.
A total of 42 players with two-round totals of 149 and better qualified for Sunday's final 36 holes.
