Scottish U14 boys' open

Italy's Sebastiano Frau, with rounds of 72 and 70, won the Loretto School Scottish Under-14 boys' open tournament at Crail Golfing Society, Fife.
Frau's total of two-under-par 142 over the Craighead course saw him finish a stroke ahead of Ireland's Joseph Byrne (Baltinglass) with Aidan O'Hagan (Old Ranfurly) third with scores of 74 and 74 for 145.

The next best Scot was Nairn's Calum Scott in seventh place with rounds of 74 and 73 for 147. He had a double bogey 6 at the 14th in his second round. A par 4 there would have seen him finished level with third-placed O'Hagan.
First-round leader Casey Jarvis (South Africa), winner of the English Under-14s' championship last week, surprisingly faded from an opening 70 to a second-round 76 and his 146 total was
four behind the winner.
Jarvis came to grief over the closing holes with a double bogey 6 at the 14th and bogeys at the 17th and 18th. A birdie at the 16th could not repair the damage.
