Greg Owen beaten in three-man

Barracuda play-off

American Chris Stroud prevailed in a three-man play-off at the 2017 Barracuda Championship at Montreux Golf and Country Club in Reno, Nevada, for his first career US PGA Tour event victory on Sunday.
He beat another American, Richy Werenski, and England's Greg Owen in Sunday's play-off after they all finished with 44 points in the Stableford scoring system, which rewards players with the highest point total.
The tournament's official website explained a double eagle (albatross) was worth eight points, an eagle 5pts, a birdie 2pts, zero for a par, a bogey is negative one and a double bogey or worse is negative three.

Had the tournament been decided on straight stroke-play, Owen would have won with a total of 270 (68-66-66-70) with Werenski (67-66-72-66) second on 271 and Stroud (68-72-68-64) third on 272.
