Scottish champion Duncan disappoints in Texas

Scottish amateur champion George Duncan from Dunbartsonshire, a final-year student at Lincoln Memorial University, Tennessee, finished joint 33rd in a field of 90 players at the Golf Week Fall Invitational college tournament at Horseshoe Bay Resort, Marble falls in Texas on Tuesday.
Duncan, pictured, had scores of 75, 75 and 79 for a total of 13-over-par 229 - 26 shots behind the winner by seven, Chandler Blanchet (West Florida) who scored 66, 70 and 67 for 13-under 203.
One of Duncan's team-mates, Sam Broadhurst, a second-year 6ft 3in student from Nuneaton made the top 20 (T18) with rounds of 73, 76 and 73 for 222.
West Florida (876) won the team title ahead of Lynn (881) and Nova Southeastern (886) with Lincoln Memorial Uni (813) seventh in a field of 18 teams. 

Sam De'Ath top Brit at Trump National Doral

Sam De'Ath from Fleet, a final-year student at Webber International University, was the highest-placed British player in the final totals at the Dave Adamonis Invitational college tournament over two courses at Trump National Doral in Florida.
De'Ath, pictured left,  had a disappointing final round of 80 after earlier scores of 68 and 76. He had an aggregate of six-over-par 224 - 17 behind the winner by four, Alex Rainville (Johnson and Wales, Florida) who scored 71, 66 and 70 for nine-under 207 over two difficult courses.
Fraser Hall (Johnson and Wales, Florida), a third-year man from Birmingham, and Jack Ewbank (Webber International), a second-year student from Middlesbrough, finished T31 on 227.
Hall scored 76, 67 and 84, while Ewbank had rounds of 77, 72 and 78.
Kenny Overthrow (Webber International), a senior student from Gloucester, shot 74, 83 and 77 for 235 and a T50 finish. 
Andy Carmichael (SCAD-Savannah), a junior from Gourock, finished T61 in the field of 95 players. He had rounds of 77, 84 and 78 for 239.
Keiser University (880) headed Wayland Baptist (882) over the final round of the team event.
Johnson and Wales, Florida (891) finished fifth.
Webber International (907) finished T8 and SCAD-Savannath (924) 11th. 

Londoner Lumsden T35 finish at Greenboro
Ryan Lumsden from London, a sophomore at Northwestern University, Illinois finished T35 in a field of 84 players at the Bridgestone Collegiate at Grandover Resort and Conference Centre's West Course at Greenboro, North Carolina.

Lumsden, pictured left,  had rounds of 73, 70 and 73 for a level par total of 216 over a 6,800yd course.
He finished 12 shots behind the winner, Nick Budd (Georgia State) who had three sub-70 scores for a one-stroke victory: 67, 69 and 68 for 12-under 205.
