Campbell and Maxwell share first prize with 72s in Big Johnson's Tour Championship
REPORT FROM JOHN HENRY
Our Big Johnson's Tour Championship was held at the 2017 Scottish Open venue of Dundonald Links.
With the sun splitting
the fairways and a slight puff of wind, we couldn't have got any better
conditions for scoring, but as proven many times during hosting the first
stage of the European Tour Qualifying School, Dundonald is a tough old beast.
The
best scores
of the day came from Ryan Campbell and Steven Maxwell, both shooting
level par 72 to share first prize
None of the players managed to pick up enough points
to overtake our Order of Merit No.1 Paul Lawrie who wins a Bridge Golf
Scotland - Big Johnson's Tour bag!
We would like to thank
Dundonald Links for hosting us today. The course was in superb condition
and the food before and after the round was superb too!
