Heather Munro T13 after a 73 in South Carolina

Scotland international Heather Munro from Monifieth, a third-year student at Elon University, North Carolina, was in joint 13th position after a first-round 73 (two over par) in the Golfweek Programme Challenge college tournament at Caledonian Golf and Fishing Club, Pawley's Island in South Carolina.
Hather was five behind the leader, Ailin Li (Boston College)
Eilidh Watson, pictured with Heather Munro, from Dollar, a student at Stetson University, DeLand, Florida, was T58 with a 81.
Olivia Jay from York, a senior-year student at Radford University, Virginia was T60 with an 82.
Anglo-Scot Paige Kemp from Essex, a final-year student at Stetson University, was T68 with an 84.
There are 80 competitors in the three-day competition.
