Knox has T17 finish in BMW Championship 

Russell Knox, in his first tournament since being overlooked by Europe's Ryder Cup team captain Darren Clarke for a place in the upcoming match, achieved a top 20 finish in the BMW championship won by American Dustin Johnson at Crooked Stick Golf Club.
Knox shots rounds of 71, 69, 69 and 71 for a total of eight under par 280 and a T17 finish,
Johnson had rounds of 67, 63, 68 and 67 for 23 under par 265.
He won by three shots from USA-based Englishman Paul Casey who scored 67, 66, 68 and 67 for 268.
American Robert Castro finished third with 65,  65, 74 and 67 for 271.
