First round leader was Mark Napier with a 5under 65 with Eric Mcintosh 2 back with a 67.
In round 2 Mark produced a level par 70 with Eric shooting 1 under 69 for 135 and 136 totals. Scotland Internationalist Euan McIntosh produced a dazzling -7 63, including a lost ball at the 9th to lead following his first round 70 on 133 and defending champion Matt Clark added a 64 to his opening 71 to join Mark 2 shots back.
43 Players on 149 or better qualified for the last two rounds (Morning CSS 72, afternoon CSS 71)
