IT’S LUCKY 13 AS BANCHORY SECURE SEMI-FINAL PLACE

After last night's closing Aberdeen Pennant League fixture it is Banchory, the defending champions,
and Royal Aberdeen who join Hazlehead and Murcar Links in the semi-final stages
to be played on Sunday, 7 August.
Whilst it was
delight for Banchory as their home victory extended their unbeaten run in the
competition to an impressive 13 matches (dating back to June 2014), it was a night
of bitter disappointment for Nigg Bay who on losing 4-1 lost out on a
semi-final placing on a match difference of one to Royal Aberdeen (Nigg Bay
14:6; Royal Aberdeen 14½:5½).
The semi-final draw
is:
Banchory v Royal Aberdeen
Venue: Craibstone
Hazlehead v Murcar Links
Venue: Royal Aberdeen
Matches will tee
off at noon.
The Final is
scheduled for the Kings Links on Sunday 11th September.
