Scottish Seniors Golfing Society Matchplay at Panmure


This afternoon's quarter finals were all extremely close.

In the first match  Ronnie Clark (Erskine) came back from 4 down after 5 holes against Jalil Aman to win by 2 holes. 
Malcolm Reid (Sonning) overcame Ian Angus (Duff House Royal) at the 18th.

Lindsay Gordon (Turnhouse) edged out John Fraser (Royal Burgess) by 1 hole,
winning the 17th and 18th in a tense finish.

In the last match Duncan Hamilton (Mortonhall) won 2&1 against Graham Bell (Downfield)
Tomorrow morning's Semi-Finals will therefore be contested by:

Ronnie Clark (Erskine) v Malcolm Reid (Sonning)
Lindsay Gordon (Turnhouse) v Duncan Hamilton (Mortonhall)


The Final of the Super Seniors will follow with :

Ken Thomson (Bramall Park) v Bill Methven (Royal Aberdeen)
