Paul Doherty's late birdies get him into leading 30
Scot Paul Doherty was sharing 27th place at the end of first round of the MENA Tour's Jo'bug City Masters tournament at Glendower Golf Club, Gauteng in South Africa.
The former Scottish U18 boys' match-play champion birdied the 15th and 18th to salvage a two-over-par 74, having dropped shots at the fourth and fifth and had a double bogey 6 at the 10th.
South African Bryn Flanagan leads the field by two strokes with a 67.
