Top 10 round by Ross Cameron in Austria

Ellon's Ross Cameron ended the opening day of the German PGA Development Tour's Adamstal Open in Austria a creditable tied ninth in a big field after one-under-par 69.
Cameron birdied the first, eighth, 16th and 17th but dropped strokes at the seventh, 10th and 13th to be two shots behind the triple joint leaders, Frenchmen Julien Gressler and Johann Lopez Lazaro, and Germany's Dominik Pietzsch.
Kevin Duncan, Philip McLean (out in 41, back in 32) and Sam Kiloh, all Paul Lawrie Golf Centre players, shot rounds rounds of 71, 73 and 74 respectively to be tied 21st, 41st and 55th.
Also on 74 is former Scottish amateur champion Alexander Culverwell (Dunbar).
Ben Collier, originally from Callander and the 1990 Scottish Boys' U18 champion, has 75 for a share of 63rd place.
Banchory's Chris Robb (Meldrum House), beaten in a play-off last week, played poorly by his standards for a 76, running up a triple bogey 7 at the 17th and sharing 74th place at the end of the day.
